The Medical and Surgical Unit at Anderson Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a patient and family-centered environment. Our staff is highly trained to provide compassionate and expert care to medical and surgical patients of all ages experiencing acute illness.

Medical Surgical Care
Our Medical and Surgical Unit is staffed with highly qualified nursing personnel, including registered nurses, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and unit secretaries. They work together as a team to perform a wide range of duties that include coordinating care plans with patients, their families, ancillary departments, and other facilities. Additionally, they are responsible for assessing patients from admission to discharge, administering medication, providing pre- and post-operative education, and offering discharge education for patients and their families. This team attends to all the psychosocial, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of their patients to ensure they receive the best care while in our hospital.
