Student Nurse Tech, Haylee West, of Anderson Hospital’s Med/Surg Unit was recently honored with The Lily Award for extraordinary service within Anderson Healthcare. This award is similar to The Daisy Award (which honors RN’s only), but recognizes the many employees in other roles throughout the healthcare organization!
Criteria for the Lily Award includes staff who:
- Models empathy and demonstrates a caring attitude in all situations with customers.
- Demonstrates extraordinary skills in their role.
- Has a positive attitude and demonstrates professionalism in the work environment.
- Exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Anderson Healthcare, abides by the code of excellence and code of conduct.
- Establishes a special connection with the patients, families or coworkers.
Haylee was nominated by 3 different patients and one family member of a patient.
