"Darren is a great employee who consistently kept our hospital room clean and well managed. Darren has a great outlook on life and his energy and personality is very warming and kind. Darren went out of his way to make our family feel comfortable and taken care of." - Patient
"Darren is always in a pleasant and cheerful mood. He always makes small talk and visits with the patients while he is cleaning the rooms. He always cleans the room ASAP after a discharge most of the time he is already waiting outside the room to clean. As a charge nurse I check all the rooms after being cleaned to setup for the next patient and the rooms are always up to the expectations. Darren is always willing to help me carry the extra items out of the room back to the storage room. Many times I have had to ask Darren to clean the restroom across from the nurses station extra due to visitor messes. Darren always gets to the task without complaining even if he literally just cleaned it ( it has happened before). Darren overall is one of the best housekeepers we have on 2medical and we are lucky to have him." - Staff

As a reminder, Anderson Healthcare initiaed the Lily Program this year as a spin off from the Daisy Program. While the Daisy Program recognizes excellent nurses, the Lily Program is an opportunity to recognize the many employees in other roles throughout the healthcare organization! The criteria the Lily Committee looked for in the nominations are as follows:
