MCT Bus Stop Change – Effective Monday, July 14

July 9, 2025

Please be aware that beginning Monday, July 14, the MCT Bus Stop
on our hospital campus will be relocated during the ER Project.

New Location:

  • The stop will move just north of the current shelter, directly at the entrance of Hospital Road and Route 162.
  • This change will affect MCT Buses 13 and 19, with Bus 19 stopping at approximately 5:45 a.m., 6:45 a.m., and 7:45 a.m.—right when many of our staff are arriving for shifts.

What to Expect:

  • Increased traffic congestion on Route 162 heading eastbound from Route 159, especially prior to 6 a.m., 7 a.m., and 8 a.m. shifts.
  • Stopped cars near the entrance, creating brief delays.
  • A slight location change for riders who use this stop regularly

We encourage all who travel via this route—whether driving or riding the bus—to plan for a few extra minutes during their commute, especially at peak times.
